Eastern U.S. Snowfall-to-Date

imageHere’s an approximate look at how much snow has fallen across the eastern U.S. so far this season.

Snow was observed as far south as the Gulf Coast and many locations further north saw record-breaking or near-record snowfall for the season. To go along with the snow, temperatures were also below average in most of these same areas.

Look for another update toward the end of April. A special thanks goes out to Ralph Fato for helping to collect this data.

Contours are approximate due to the sampling of reports used. Only official National Weather Service climo stations were used.
